Flashback of the Day: Rick Rude and Bobby Heenan on Arsenio Hall

This is what is missing from wrestling today. You don't see wrestlers go on talk shows and discuss an upcoming PPV while staying in character the entire time. Arsenio Hall sold it so well too. Great promoting by Rude and Heenan.

Classic Moment in Modern Wrestling

On the "Old School" edition of RAW a couple of weeks ago, Rowdy Roddy Piper cut one of the most emotional and heart felt promos that I've ever heard. I felt the subliminal messages Piper was sending. WWE just gives the world title away these days. "If you do what I think you're gonna do and you give that S.O.B. Wade Barrett the title without deserving it, then what you're doing... is you're spitting in the face of all these legends that you say you respect.... don't you spit in my face John Cena."

The Dudleys split up... who cares in 2010?

About a week ago, Brother Ray turned on Brother Dvon on iMPACT!.. and as a result Team3D (The Dudley Boyz) are over as a tag team. No offense, but does anyone even give a crap about this stupid storyline in 2010? This might have been a passable storyline in 2001... but Team3D hasn't been that relevant in years... and I could care less if they won "23" Tag Titles because no matter how many belts they win... they still will never be as legendary as The Road Warriors. I mean, who has Team3D beaten over the years as far as legendary tag teams go? The Hardy Boyz? Edge/Christian? That's about it. They never fought the Legion of Doom. They never fought The Steiners (in their prime), they never fought the Harlem Heat. As far as I'm concerned, this team was never that cool to begin with... and especially not now in 2010. Some might say they were "over" in the WWF, but it was more the teams they were fighting or the TLC matches that were over... not the Dudley Boyz.
